Respectful language
We write about creators the way they write about themselves. That means:
- using the identity terms and pronouns a creator uses publicly;
- never using slurs as labels, even where they appear in searches;
- describing categories and styles without crude or demeaning wording;
- treating every orientation, gender identity and body with the same respect.
We ask readers who write to us, or who share our pages, to hold to the same standard.
Community terms
Words like gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, nonbinary and queer carry real meaning for the people who use them. Our tags rely on those community terms in their accepted sense. When a term is contested or used differently across communities, we lean on how the creator presents and keep the description neutral.
How listings handle identity
- Self-description comes first. A tag is applied only when it matches what a creator states openly on their profile.
- No guessing. We do not assign an orientation or gender identity based on appearance.
- No private details. Listings never include real names, locations beyond what a creator states publicly, or any information from outside their public profile.
- No outing. Nothing in the catalog is intended to reveal anything a creator has not chosen to share.
Removal and correction requests
If you are a creator in our catalog and want your listing removed, or a tag, pronoun or detail changed, email [email protected]. Tell us your username and how we can check that the account is yours. We act on these requests promptly and without asking for a reason.
Adults only
The catalog and everyone featured in it are adults. Readers must be 18 or older.
